Thinned out red ink to help with a softer feel. The red was printed as a one-color. Then all the shirts were gone through a second time to overprint the black ink so no two shirt prints are the same.
I worked at Diesel Fuel Prints for a few years as the main textile printer before buying Andy's shirt equipment and starting my own business back in October 2007.
